As advised last year in Community Bulletin A32/2016 (see attachment), Senator the Hon Fiona Nash, Minister for Regional Development, has confirmed that round one of the new Building Better Regions Fund is now open for applications.
The Building Better Regions Fund allocates grants for infrastructure and community investment projects in rural, regional and remote Australia. Eligible not for profit organisations and local governing bodies from the Indian Ocean Territories can apply for grants under the Building Better Regions Fund.

There are two streams under the Building Better Regions Fund. Applications will close on Tuesday, 28 February, 2017 for the Infrastructure Projects Stream and Friday, 31 March, 2017 for the Community Investments Stream.
