Topic: Increased Security at Australian Airports

The Australian Government has recently advised the additional aviation security measures implemented at Australia’s major airports last week have been adjusted. For the travelling public, this means they should still expect increased security measures, and while these measures are precautionary the public can be confident that Australia has a comprehensive and strong aviation security system.

From Friday 4 August 2017 travelers can return to normal recommended travel times at the airport for check-in. Guests travelling on commercial regular passenger transport flights are recommended to arrive at least 1 hour before Domestic flights and 2 hours before International flights to allow time for check-in and security screening.
