As of 3.00 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Rockfall Alert—Level One has been cancelled, and access to Flying Fish Cove has been restored. The boat ramp is accessible and speed restrictions on Murray Road have been lifted.

As Tropical Cyclone Dahlia has safely passed Christmas and conditions are easing, Thursday's voluntary evacuation has also been cancelled.

The rockfall fence and landslide susceptible areas were inspected earlier today without any rockfalls or landslides observed.

Please continue to observe the road closures leading to Tai Jin House which isolate the existing landslide area with no protective fence. This closure applies to vehicles and pedestrians until the fence can be repaired.

I would like to thank the Territory Controller, the Emergency Management Committee, emergency volunteers and members of the community for their cooperation and support this week.
